KARACHI: Pakistan U19 women’s team on Wednesday, kicked off their training camp here at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre for the upcoming ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, scheduled to run from January 18 to February 2 in Malaysia.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the national squad partook in two practice sessions.
The players underwent fielding and running drills in the morning session, while they took part in batting and bowling sessions in the afternoon session.p> T
After the completion of the camp, Pakistan team will depart for Malaysia on 10 January to feature in the 16-team world tournament.p> T
Pakistan is placed in Group B, alongside England, Ireland and the USA.
After the group stage, the top three teams from each group will qualify for the Super Six stage. p> T T T
